None of that tells you who I am. Rather, it tells you what roles I play. How often are womxn and moms defined by the roles they play rather than who they actually ARE? We are constantly defined by our labor and relationship to partners and children. Let’s take back our power, and control our narratives, shall we? I’ll start.

I was once described as a table shakin’, sailor-talkin’, truth teller and I felt that with every fiber of my being. 

I identify as a reluctant enneagram 3. Where my enneagram nerds at? I get sick of my own overachieving bullshit.

I am the type of mom that can read the hell out of a book, but please don’t ask me to craft shift #notapinterestmom.

I buy myself flowers, because I signal to myself that I don’t need to wait for anyone to recognize my worthiness.

Creating community, Lexapro, and writing take the edge off my constant feeling of being an exposed nerve.
